I remember that the man who came to our school would talk to us and there was an incentive each year. The child who sold the most chocolate bars would win a giant stuffed bear named Freddy the Freeloader. I never won Freddy but had a lot of fun selling (and eating!) the chocolate. By the end of the fundraiser we had not only paid for their trip which was $500, but we paid for 3 others who didn’t have the chance to go otherwise.
